Research

I'm developing a Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH) based numerical framework for solving multiphysics problems in geotechnical engineering. Specifically, the large deformation analysis of saturated or unsaturated porous media observed during geohazards such as, landslides, liquefaction, flow slides in waste dumps, dams, ash-ponds, tailings dams, etc. The numerical simulations are used for analysing past or possible future events and designing remedial measures.
